We got some feedback from some old members of this blog,who brought to our attention that they didn’t know we had closed this blog and moved to our own website and forums.I will give you some infos on how to follow us and get our subbed shows,updates..

In October 2009,we could no longer be satisfied with the organization of a blog as our team and members couldn’t fully interact,and since our fanbase got bigger,our admin,Barbie,decided that it was better for us all to move to a full community,with all the advantages attached to it,a website,gallery,media gallery,and most importantly forums.

So come and join us there if you haven’t!

Why forums?

Forums allow our team to interact better,our subbed shows are organized in a section when every member,new or old can check out our work and download our english subbed shows.

Members can also post news,updates and thus help us maintain the community alive as we all are busy with our student or working life.

Where to go?

To download Lee Hyori variety shows with english subs by Hyoleesubs here is how to proceed:

Go to “Community” and register for an account.

Then go to “Forums” and register for an account.

Please keep the same username for both the forums and the website,so we know who is who.

Our subs are absolutely free,and you only need an account to get access to them,no post limit.

We’re not kidding…that we don’t have time.. really~~

If  a couple of us left or become busy.. this blog will die soon

since no one will be posting updates… and we don’t want you guys wait for only us to update.

Even if our sub team seem to have all left…and made you all wait for late subbing..

we are really sorry.. i know you waited for CTP and OTR.

We want to be fast too… but we are now completely lacking  in translators and timers because they’re busy with school and stuffs.

But we will still use the ‘HyoleeSubs’  name for the new site,

even though we don’t know how much more Eng Subs we can work on.

It will be a site for all Hyori updates just like this wordpress blog.

HyoleeSubs is like a name of team to spread hyori love for international fans (sound cool? ) haha

It took Hyori eight years to graduate college. And now, the reason is revealed.

On the 23rd, MBC every1′s “STAR the Secret” will broadcast why it took such a long time for Hyori to become a graduate of Kookmin University.

Before Fin.K.L debuted, Hyori passed the test that only accepted 40 out of 2600 people that applied. With a ratio of 65:1, Hyori successfully entered the performing arts department of Kookmin University. Hyori’s 3rd year high school teacher said, “At first, it was harder for her to get into schools in Seoul, but her grades improved in the second semester.”

Hyori entered Kookmin in 1998. At the same time, pre-Fin.K.L Hyori was a chubby college student. She was a popular worker in the student’s cafeteria. At the time, she asked her professors for advice before appearing in SBS “Three Leaf Clover.”

However, the professor said, “Hyori’s mom came to look for the principal so that Hyori can have a smooth graduation process. She didn’t want her to stay in a state of failing. Finally, in the eighth year, she graduated.”

An interview with Ahn Ji Hye.

“I still feel like we should ask more questions about Hyori.”

“It’s okay. Go ahead.”

Ahn Ji Hye’s cool and frankness is her specialty and attraction. Juxtaposed with Hyori’s charm, the pair’s friendship gives off a “That’s why they’re friends” vibe.

Although she is an actress and even went to Russia to perform, she is only known as “Hyori’s friend” when “Hyori’s Off the Record” was broadcasted.

She might be disappointed but she remains committed to her acting career. Though she sees her peer reaching peaks of popularity, she does not feel pressured. To Ji Hye, Hyori may be her soulmate.

When speaking about Hyori, her expression is always bright. It didn’t feel like an interview, it felt more like a casual conversation about a friend’s story.

“Her acting? As an actress myself, her acting is really hard to endure. But that’s just because her role didn’t suit her.” Her comments were harsh, and yet, they show compassion.

Hyori and Ji Hye‘s friendship is as common as any other. They care for each other, but living as celebrities makes their lives look glamorous even though it is quite lonely. As long as she has someone to accompany her on this long road, Ji Hye feels like a “lucky actress.”

Q: Are you disappointed that you’re not being known for your acting skills, but rather for being Hyori‘s friend?
A: I act in plays and I do independent films, so I don’t regret that the public doesn’t know that much about me. Whether it is “actress Ahn Ji Hye” or “Hyori‘s friend Ahn Ji Hye,” they’re both me and there’s no reason to separate the two.

Q: Those modifiers seem to give you a mystery feeling, like “How is Hyori‘s friend actually like?”
A: Really? That’s a good thing for me. (Laughs.) I actually didn’t know that I’m labeled as Hyori‘s friend. I just went on “Off the Record” once and did a photoshoot with her. It’s a bit embarrassing to say that I’m a mystery. If I knew that I was going to come off like that, I would’ve made myself look prettier when I was recording. Too bad. (Laughs.)

Q: When did you meet this friend?
A: I met her in the first year of college. We were both in the acting department. It’s been 10 years already.

Q: Do you guys have any intimate moments?
A: Intimate moments are an exaggeration. We were really compatible friends. We like the same things, our interests are similar, style, too. But the most important thing is that we live close to each other. We’re practically neighbors.

Q: Your friendship isn’t any different from other friendships?
A: Friendship is not going to change just because one is a top star. To me, friendship happens when we first meet.

Q: When you’re together, what do you guys do?
A: We stay home. We watch movies, read books, listen to music. We both like to raise kittens so we like cat-watching. She likes to cook, I like to clean. When we’re together, I feel really comfortable. If she were a man, we probably would’ve gotten married.

Q: You guys seem even sillier than I expected.
A: It’s not like we don’t do anything when we get together. Recently, I started liking “Hula.” But I like to compare our appearances. I always lose, though. I’m thinking about giving up. (Laughs.)
